Pillows by Eileen Bradley, Designs by NineTomatoes

Aren’t these great?? Eileen Bradley (if you’re on FB, you can find her here) took some of my fabric and created these for starters. She has ideas for other styles, so I came up with a few more designs for her to work with. More pillows will be showing up here over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Shop Fabric, Prints, Wall-Hangings and More

NineTomatoes’ wall-hangings came to life when a good friend asked if I could do some mandalas in chakra colors. That’s all it took. Voilà! They hang everywhere now, including many rooms in my house.

If you happen to be at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, you’ll find these wall-hangings available in their beautiful store.

Shop Tee Shirts

I get a lot of feedback from people who wear my tee-shirts. Most of them say something like: “This’ll sound weird, but I feel good when I wear this shirt. Isn’t that strange?!” “No,” I say, “not at all. Thanks for telling me, I love to hear it!”

The Spirituality Box

Ever feel like all the spiritual stuff out there comes with its own set of limitations? To illustrate, I bought a(nother) book on energy healing recently, and it started out with a bang. Lots of the lingo I like. But very quickly, like all the other books I’ve read on this topic, it soon deteriorated into a set of rules.

I just don’t like rules. Never have. And I don’t think spiritual rules are real. For instance, when the book says I have to light a candle, face a certain way, …

Shifting Energy

Full moon tomorrow, Uranus shifting position, and manifestations of fast-paced energy everywhere I look! In the last week, I’ve seen or heard about several car/bus accidents, people breaking arms and legs, equipment not working, snippy interactions, illnesses and deaths, and the list goes on. From a certain perspective, these shifts are fascinating! As the Earth transforms, everyone, on some level, is facing uncertainty. And that tends to trigger our need to control our lives.

But here’s the treasure!

There really is freedom in letting go – of control, of limits, barriers, …

Fun and Easy Mandala Meditation

Lots of people talk about meditation these days, and there are plenty of myths and superstitions around the process. All I have to do is say the word, and I get the instant shaking of the head and the “oh, I don’t have the patience for that!” response. Usually comes from the very people who would benefit the most! But I think it’s just because they think it’s hard or takes a lot of time.

Really all you have to do is sit there and breathe. The rest just happens …

Shift Into Extraordinary – Make a Mandala

Everyone knows that creative expression leads to grand epiphanies and positive life changes. Creating art helps us feel passionate and excited about our lives, and when we feel that way, we’re open to change. Despite this wonderful notion, most of us believe we don’t have a creative bone in our bodies! For instance, I recently spoke with an exercise instructor who spent ten minutes assuring me that everyone else in her family is artistic but her. When she finished, I suggested that, in fact, she IS an artist, moving her …
