Practicing yoga opens the physical as well as the energetic bodies. Each of these images is my interpretation of a basic opening pose, related to a certain chakra and presented in that chakra’s main color. Wheel/root/red. Cobra/sacral/orange. Bow/solar plexus/yellow. Fish/throat/blue. Seated Yoga Mudra/3rd eye/blue. Seated Meditation/crown/violet. The mandala is the vortex of energy created by the bodies in this pose. I like to think of these images as my Yoga Angels, supporting me on and off the mat!

This design is a mirrored image of the center of a mandala, the one I chose for the top of my banner. I love the way it feels close up and multiplied. So much energy!
