I know people who wake up in the morning, grab their phone, scan the headlines, jump out of bed, go straight for the coffee and the to-do list. It’s amazing! If I did that, I’d be a monster and no one would be safe. I know, I’ve tried it just to see. I can’t even skip my morning stretch without paying for it later. I just won’t have the resources to successfully navigate the day, much less the unexpected event or visitor.
So I don’t do that. But I marvel at people who do, who can. They appear fine on the outside, ready to go, take the day in hand, get-er-done on Planet Earth. But I need more than 3D to-do’s. I need shiny. I need magic. I need to tap into the unseen, marvel at the natural world, build a story for my heart so she feeds my head beautiful thoughts. I need Love spiraling and twirling through me and my day. Then whatever 3D thing needs doing feels like an adventure, not a chore.
Anyway, back to the cards – Nature, Build. There’s a hurricane coming up the Northeast coast of the US, where I live. It feels like an invitation from Nature to spiral and twirl a little more, Build the magic back into our lives.
