Trust, shown above left, and on the right with some geometric tips
Trust is a geometric pattern. I asked for it. It let me know how to build it, where to put things, what colors to use. All I had to do (all I ever do) was feel my way. I (meaning my husband) printed it on 24 x 36″ canvas and hung it in my bedroom. It stands over my bed (next to several others), a Trusted Guide, watching over me. And even though I created it and I live with it, it took me over a year to notice the heart. At the perfect moment, naturally.
“Trust your heart,” it said. Of course it would. It still blows my mind that it came through this way to begin with, and sat there utterly exposed, hidden to my eyes. I just saw it a certain way and that was that. When I suddenly saw the heart, a cascade of epiphanies washed over me about things going on in my life, in the world, and in the cosmos (and that was pre-Covid.) They all work the same way, some more obviously than others.
If you’re into geometry, numerology, tarot, Kabbalah and other esoteric topics, then you know there’s a whole lot more to glean from hanging out with this (or any) geometric piece. And if you simply want to measure your spiritual growth over time, buy yourself a big, complicated work of geometric art and live with it for a few years. Dig in and notice. Listen. Depending on the piece, you may never know all it has to say.
